We repair and reweave damaged or worn carpets. Pick-up and delivery is available in the metropolitan Washingon DC area.

Cleaning

Fine Oriental carpets should be cleaned with special care in order to protect the wool fibers, preserve their natural oils, and prevent dye runs. Commercial and chemical cleaners can destroy the fiber structure and give your carpets a stiff feel. We hand-wash your carpets with specially formulated, nonabrasive cleaners.

Appraisals

Art Underfoot provides professional estate and insurance appraisals of your Oriental rugs -- either in your home (in the Washington DC area), at your business, or at our store.
